Austinites will ring in the holidays with The Domain’s Fourth Annual Lighting of the Great Tree presented by Cadillac on Saturday, November 20 at 6 p.m. A towering 40-foot Christmas tree, glowing with more than 6,000 holiday lights, 400 ornaments and a stunning five-foot star topper, will light up the tree-lined streets of The Domain.
Headlining the event are Texas Hill Country Singer/songwriter sensations Kelly Willis and Bruce Robinson.
The holiday event will also feature a special local performance from Central Texas native, singer-songwriter Sahara Smith.
The Central Texas holiday tradition will also offer special live performances from the “Outside Voices” choir from Riverbend Church who will bring holiday music to life through their performance.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early on the 20th to enjoy family friendly-festivities throughout The Domain including a Holiday Fine Arts Festival, in-store events and offers, holiday performances by local groups and crafts and entertainment for children.
Other exciting yuletide events happening at The Domain throughout the holidays include firework displays every Saturday night at 8 p.m., holiday entertainment, including traditional strolling carolers, marshmallow roasting and complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides through The Domain every Friday and Saturday night.
