The $25 Wine Class: Lopez de Heredia September 26, 2011

Our next $25 Wine Class is an especially incredible value! On Monday, September 26, Instructor Elizabeth Esqueda will share her enthusiasm and love for three wines from one of her favorite wine producers, the world-renowned and historic R. Lopez de Heredia, which is located in Rioja, Spain. The Lopez wines you’ll be treated to are White Crianza, Rosé Gran Reserva, and a red Crianza (if you have no clue what these terms mean, that’s ok—you'll learn in this class!).

In addition to getting to taste these amazing wines, you’ll learn about the aging methods that Lopez uses and why their wines taste the way they do. Elizabeth will also discuss the history of Lopez winemaking techniques, which, by the way, have remained the same for over 134 years. Talk about old school!
