-- The Line Up --
THE GLITCH MOB
Selling out major venues from coast to coast simply by word of mouth, The Glitch Mob has become a festival favorite, rocking crowds from Lightning in a Bottle to Coachella to Ultra Music Fest. with their visceral, innovative performances. This spring, the L.A.-based trio embarked on their first full nationwide tour in support of their debut album release Drink the Sea (which reached the top of the charts on its 1st day of release!
Drink The Sea represents The Glitch Mob's transformation up from the underground into a more widescreen vision: from the cryptic cover art (courtesy Sonny Kay, famed for his work with Mars Volta) to the kaleidoscopic dimension of the music inside, Drink The Sea evokes a voyage into the unexpected--including sonic waters previously unexplored by the band itself.
The Glitch Mob "sound" has always been a continually mutating concept, always pushing new boundaries as the group evolves. Then again, flipping the script comes as no surprise for the group XLR8R praises for "a willingness to take risks and a fierce determination to steer clear of classification... [The Glitch Mob is] tearing up dancefloors and confusing the hell out of anyone trying to put a label on their music." This approach is part and parcel of the vital West Coast electronic music community The Glitch Mob hails from.
Drink The Sea, meanwhile, remains a key piece of the puzzle, but not the only one: the group's live show is where The Glitch Mob experience truly comes together. In their live show The Glitch Mob will be fusing the new material with extensive, never-before-experienced musical and visual production that pushes technology, sound and performance to new levels.

FREE THE ROBOTS
Chris Alfaro is Free the Robots. The genre-defying artist pulls together heavy doses of traditional jazz, psych, electronic and hip-hop, with progressive melodies and devastating drums into a rich pot of sound. His techniques create harmony between genres with the blending of obscure samples with analog and digital compositions.
Having worked with so many different styles of music, Free the Robots brought everything together under one roof, allowing further exploration. With the use of samples, Controllers, and other live instruments, Alfaro creates a balance between the sounds of the past, present and future.

DERU
Deru is Benjamin Wynn, an electronic music producer from Los Angeles. His music is best described as an amalgamation of hip-hop, electronica and IDM. Say Goodbye to Useless will be his third album and first with Mush Records. This album comprises the aesthetics of his previous releases – moody, atmospheric sounds, haunting melodies and organic textures – but with his most mature song-writing and thumping beats to date.
