Winner of the American College Theatre Festival, this play is the story of a disturbed young man (with a gift for finding water) and his friendship with a disenchanted preacher in southern Indiana in the early 1930s. Zion is populated by a cast of fascinating characters (mechanics, farmers, and local small-town retailers) who are both "believers" and "doubters." The play is directed by Robin Bowles, who guest-starred at the Greer Garson Theatre in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum in 2003, and Urinetown in 2006.
