Being a C-TPAT member, organization and business personnel can become an active participant against terrorism. This webinar on C-TPAT will help the attendees in understanding the C-TPAT requirements and the methods to be followed in order to participate in the C-TPAT.
Course Objective:
More than 10,000 companies have joined in the C-TPAT since it was established in 2002. These companies are getting direct and indirect benefits from being a member of C-TPAT other than being active in the movement against terrorism. U.S. Customs has a stated mission of quadrupling the C-TPAT program by 2014 and in order to increase membership it is anticipated that the benefits of participation will continue to be enhanced. C-TPAT participation will help to reduce the company’s risk values and it will lead to minimal number of inspections and audits. This 2-hour webinar will discuss the dynamics and mechanics of participating in the U.S. Customs & Border Protection C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program. This will explain the reasons and methods for a company to become a C-TPAT participant and what are the ongoing maintenances required. It will cover all aspects of the C-TPAT program and help existing members to prepare for validation or revalidation. It will cover the following areas relating to C-TPAT participation:
