This introduction to the world of jewelry making begins with the simple skills of sawing, filing, sanding, soldering, texturing, annealing, stamping, polishing, safety, and design. During this course, you’ll make technical samples you can use for future reference as well as a sterling silver ring. The techniques you’ll be learning can be applied to almost any kind of project—large or small. You’ll learn the properties of metals like copper, brass, silver, and other nonferrous metals.
