The Crucible's Introduction to Blacksmithing Class December 31, 1969

Basic blacksmithing is designed to offer the fundamental skills needed to forge steel and understand blacksmithing tools. We?l introduce tapering, upsetting, flattening, dishing and the bending of hot steel. Instructors will assign small projects such as spoons, knives, forks, bottle openers and candle holders.
