This combination of glass and metal uses both kiln firing and fabrication techniques. The processes of fusing and slumping the glass are done in the kiln. These forms evolve into dimensional creations through the techniques of copper foiling and soldering the glass pieces together. Different mold materials and fastening methods will be explored. Stained glass or glass fusing experience is helpful but not necessary. All materials and tools will be provided. Continuing students welcome.
