The Critic Speaks is a panel discussion taking place at Gallery 1313 on Monday Feb. 26 7pm. Some of Toronto's leading art critics talk shop. Critics Peter Goddard (the Toronto Star), David Balzer (Eye Weekly & Toronto Life), Stephanie Rogerson (Now Magazine ) and Claudia McKoy (editor Mix Magazine join bloggers Timothy Comeau (www.goodreads.ca) and Carrie Young (BLOG TO) to talk about the process of criticism. Blogging has become another venue for art criticism. Moderator Nick Brown (working on his Masters in Art History and Curative Practices at AGYU) will keep the discussion going and the public can ask questions of the panel.
The event is free and the first of a monthly series of panel discussions on contemporary art.
