The Perceptions are an all-star band made up from some of the UK's top funk bands. With a mutual love of the late-60’s Funk Jazz sound of labels such as Prestige and Blue Note, long-time friends Neil Robinson (drums), Gary Crockett (bass), John ‘Wilma’ Willmott (sax and flute), and legendary latin percussionist and band leader Snowboy got together to form The Perceptions. Enlisting the talents of Speedometer band-leader Leigh Gracie on guitar and the amazing young Italian jazz recording artist Sam Gambarini on Hammond Organ the band deliver world-class performances of pure funk that pull the crowds wherever they play.
