The Colburn Academy Virtuosi Orchestra - Inaugural Concert November 14, 2012

THE COLBURN SCHOOL celebrates the launch of the ACADEMY VIRTUOSI CHAMBER ORCHESTRA. In collaboration with the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Gustavo Dudamel Conducting Fellows program, RAFAEL PAYARE, recent winner of the prestigious 2012 Malko Competition in Copenhagen, joins as guest conductor. Flutist RIRIA NIIMURA will be the featured soloist.
Program features W.A. MOZART Divertimento in D Major, K. 136,
C.P.E. BACH Flute Concerto in D Minor, H. 426, and Felix MENDELSSOHN Sinfonia No. 12 in G Minor.
