dance Immersion, with a mandate to produce and support dancers of the African Diaspora, present the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Company, a modern dance company from Denver, Colorado, May 29-31 at Harbourfront Centre's Enwave Theatre. One of the most respected black dancer/choreographers in North America, Cleo Parker and her company are celebrating its 38th Season. They will bring the magic of Katherine Dunham and Alvin Ailey to the stage with Dunham's "Choros" and "Barrel House Blues,” and the newly premiered "Ragtime" and Ailey's sensual and jazzy "Escapades" set to the evocative score of jazz legends Max Roach and Abby Lincoln.
