The Chosen Party is a funfilled evening of entertainment and shmoozing plus a classy-kosher sit down dinner. Join us to honor Congregation Sha'ar Zahav, San Francisco's LGBT synagogue, celebrating 30 years of inclusive Judaism.
Jewish lesbian singer-songwriter, Jill Sobule will perform a special set, including her 1995 Top-20 pop hit, “I Kissed A Girl.” The evening’s headline event is The Holy Wigs drag show, starring six of Jerusalem’s top gender illusionists (including Diva D, the star of Israeli Wigstock and trail-blazing Israeli drag king, Sharshabil Forte). The show was a huge success at last summer’s Jerusalem World Pride, and the performers are traveling to the United States for this one show only.
Tickets: Sha'ar Zahav members: $118; Non-members: $180 (includes classy-kosher sit-down dinner, wine and hors d’ouvres).
For tickets call the Sha'ar Zahav office: 415-861-6932
This event is wheelchair accessible.
