The Choral Arts Society of Washington: Beethoven Missa Solemnis November 5, 2006

“From the heart—may it go to the heart,” wrote Beethoven on the score of Missa Solemnis, the work he regarded as his greatest achievement. The Choral Arts Society of Washington performs Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis on Sunday, November 5 at 3:00 pm at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Soprano Kelley Nassief, mezzo-soprano Stacey Rishoi, tenor Paul Austin Kelly, and bass Gary Relyea will join the 200-voice ensemble under the baton of Artistic Director Norman Scribner.
