Open every Sunday from late April through early December, the Chattanooga Market is the largest and most attended producer-only farmers market, craft fair and entertainment destination in the region. Unlike many commercial markets, the Chattanooga Market prohibits participation from "buy/sell" vendors; only the farmers, craftsmen, chefs and artists who create, grow and design the finished products may sell them at the market.
The producer-only sales requirement has created an incredible focus on product quality and vendor pride within our community. There are very few places in the world where you can shop for fresh produce, sourdough bread, handmade soaps, museum-quality glass & art and even eight-hundred pound steel dinosaurs all in one spot -- and in each and every case, you get to meet and directly support the people who created the products you purchase.
