Hailed by New York Magazine for dances that "mix a witty Broadway sensibility with rock-and-roll zest,” The Chase Brock Experience makes its Abrons’ debut with the world premiere of American Sadness, set to Gabriel Kahane’s self-titled debut album, with sets and costumes designed by Dane Laffrey, and lighting designed by Japhy Weideman. The evening will also feature Brock’s popular Slow Float, as well as Curious Episode and Junk and Lies.
Opening Night Gala tickets are on sale for a private balcony reception and seating. A special meet and greet with the dancers will follow the performance.
Specially priced student and artist tickets in the orchestra sides are available nightly for
--anyone with a high school/college/university student ID
--anyone with a conservatory or other program or class card (e.g. a
Broadway Dance Center or Steps ID or class card)
--any member of a theatrical union with a union card: AEA, SSDC, SAG,
AFTRA, AGMA, AGVA, etc.
