Alist Events and Bobby Patterson proudly presents "The Capital Concert Series", a concert series dedicated to providing a platform for today's up and coming artists to showcase their talent via live concert performances. Volume one debuts January 14, 2012 at Howard University's Cramton Auditorium, and features performances by Grammy Award winning Artist Chrisette Michele, along with Elle Varner, Black Alley and Incwell. The monthly concert series gives fans of the Washington DC metropolitan area the opportunity to experience the talent of today's emerging artists.

Elle Varner, a graduate of LA's Amazing Conservatory, The Grammy in the Schools and NYU's Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music is preparing to release her debut CD "Perfectly Imperfect". The MBK/J Records recording artist has the smash single "Only Wanna Give it To You" featuring J. Cole that is steadily climbing the charts. Elle Varner is bound for major stardom. Born of two published songwriters, she is an example of someone who has music running through her veins.
