Part 1: We'll explain, Define and discuss the characteristics and buyers of
the major voiceover categories and their sub-groups:

Commercial, Narration, Industrial, and (advanced specialty areas -
Promo, Imaging, Trailer, Animation)
This includes business strategy for each, and performance sound and style.

Part 2: We explore payment, negotiations, and sales for each of those areas
previously discussed.

We define the key rates of pay that exist for VO talent from LOW to HIGH and
explain how fair pay is established.

This will also include a discussion about the union, what it means to be
non-union, financial core etc.

If time permits we'll also review common mistakes to avoid when negotiating
rates and how to ensure you get paid.

Part 3: Marketing & Branding your voice for success. This includes ways to
find work and how to build an effective plan of action that makes you
proactive in your booking efforts.

This area also covers agents: what they want, how to impress them and how to
find them.

And lastly we will cover in detail - demo presentation, submission, cover
letters, graphic design and websites. What to do and not to do for each.

About the Instructor:

Gabrielle Nistico is the VP of VOCareer.com and the Operations Manager at
VoiceHunter.com - two of the most well respected companies in the voiceover
industry. She is a voice talent for Nordstrom's, Wal-Greens, Harley-Davidson

and countless radio & TV stations. She's an author, coach, and the producer
of hundreds of voiceover demos for working pros. Gabby's rich and rewarding
voiceover career has been full of both ups and downs that she readily shares
in her workshops. Her passion for the industry is undeniable. She's honest
(sometimes brutally so) and is known for her being a 'tough' coach who gets
results. Her training and philosophy with regard to sales, marketing and
voiceover presentation is sought out by talent across the globe.
