This seminar will focus on two areas: The art and science of auditioning and the "business of show-business."
The audition segment walks the participants through the entire process for submitting for a role, through call-backs and landing the role. Focus will be on crucial moments like the first 10-seconds when appearing in front of any sized group, interpersonal skills, head games, and will include time for at least some participants to be put on tape in mock auditions.
The business side will highlight the actor as a small business, market trends, the true roles of agents, managers, producers, casting directors, and how to set and maintain an image as a professional. There will be time for questions at the end of the sessions.
