The Buddhahood March 27, 2008

The Buddhahood will be performing at Dinosaur BBq in Rochester on Thursday, March 27th at 10:00PM. This will be the 1st full show The Buddhahood has performed since the passing on of Tony (the last place he played.) We have spent the last 3 months building back the repertoire, reworking drum and guitar parts and experimenting with vocals. Moving on in the good name of Tony Cavagnaro has been exhausting physically, mentally and spiritually; however, it has also been very uplifting getting closer to his music, learning from his lessons and sharing the important things. There is nothing quite like healing through music.
The Buddhahood has recently added three amazingly talented musicians to its line up. Bob Olson, of "The Mysterious Blues Band," who played with Tony for years, will be performing on guitar, as well as two of the original drummers of The Buddhahood - Peet Mugnolo of "Bare Bones" and Paul Mastriani of "Redline Zydeco." Peet will be joining us on timbales and vocals and Paull will be on auxiliary percussion; Yes, we are excited to increase the size of the percussion section just a little more and happy to have the whole family back.

We've been working hard but have also managed to keep it free and creative. All members of The Buddhahood write music and we have many original songs waiting to be performed, including a few that will debut at the show. So we are excited to get out of the studio and hit the road and anxious for some feedback. We would love any help you can give us to get the word out. Attached is a Buddhahood Bio.
