Following the success of last year’s IN THE RED AND BROWN WATER, Pillsbury House Theatre and The Mount Curve Company return to the Guthrie Theater for the second play in Tarell Alvin McCraney’s Brother/Sister Plays trilogy, THE BROTHERS SIZE. When Oshoosi Size comes home from prison, he hopes to resume his happily aimless life, but his older brother Ogun, a hard-working mechanic, cannot let Oshoosi forget his mistakes. Does the love of family hold you back or can it set you free? McCraney weaves together family, the bayou, and African mythology to create a stylized story of love and heartache. Tony-nominated Marion McClinton directs Gavin Lawrence and James A. Williams in what is sure to be an unforgettable theater event.
