About the BROOKLYN SALSA PARTY!

The Brooklyn Salsa Party! is a community dance event started by local Brooklyn dancers in order to have a quality and laid-back salsa event in the neighborhood. The purpose is to have a local event where people can hangout with friends and practice their moves, dance, socialize and meet new friends. Dancers that attend Brooklyn Salsa Party! are very friendly and welcoming. We dance many styles while most favor On2 New York Style Mambo that is danced and taught in New York City. Expect to hear a variety of music including Classic Salsadura, Cuban Salsa, Salsa Romantica, Cha Cha Cha, Boogaloo, Mambo, Bachata, Merengue and a mix of Top 40 dance hits that gives the party a modern vibe. Requests are never turned down and a dance lesson kicks off the party. You do not need a partner to attend the Brooklyn Salsa Party! and if you've ever wanted to learn how to dance salsa this is your chance.

The Brooklyn Salsa Party! is held every Sunday at 739 Franklin Ave. Lounge from 6 P.M. to 11 P.M.

We offer a free beginner's salsa class to start the party and we welcome absolute beginners as well as advanced salsa & mambo dancers. The music is 75% Classic Salsa Dura, 15% Cha Cha and 10% Bachata, Merengue Latin Mix.

This event is produced by Upscale Salsa Productions. For more information email adrian@upscalesalsa.com.
