first annual Brew-B-Que. Listen to live music, sample beers from Austin and Regional brewers, eat Bar-B-Que from Central Texas' great restaurants, Compete in games of skill.

Listen to live music, sample beers from Austin and Regional brewers, eat Bar-B-Que from Central Texas' great restaurants, Compete in games of skill. Watch the lumber Jack show consisting of chainsaw racing, obstacle pole racing, world champion cross-cut sawing, log rolling, spring board chopping, standing block chopping, underhand chopping and more. Catch Austin's first ever chihuahua races, or be a part of the backyard BBQ challenge by bringing out your pit and team to show off your grilling skills and be a part of our documentary film on BBQ and brewing techniques.
Restaurants will compete in various competitions from best Sauce to grilling challenges involving cooking meats with beer sauces and marinades, and even a beer can chicken competition. Top local chefs will hold BBQ Seminars sharing some of there secretes and cooking tips.
Brew B Que is also a beer tasting event. Major to minor brewers will be showcasing their product lines and talk about the art of brewing. The festival will offer sample trays that allow patrons to choose 6 beers in 6 oz servings for $9.00 (The super six pack sampler).
Beer Games competitions include activities like washers, quarters, darts, horse shoes, coaster flipping, empty can toss, empty keg tossing, beer trivia, pint chug, beer belly competition, and more.
Even home brewers will have a chance to show off to a panel of judges.
If the Bar B Que and Beer is not enough for you, then listen to some great Texas music while you eat and drink. The event will feature a major stage with continues live music, and a smaller stage located in the large beer garden with October Fest Bands and polka dancers as well as burlesque shows. The event will feature an arts and crafts market so you can get an early start on your holiday shopping.
