The Boys’ Brigade Share-a-Gift 2011 November 22, 2011

What can be more joyful than to light up this coming festive season by showering acts of kindness to those in need?

Join in the Boys' Brigade (BB) Share-a-Gift project by doing simple acts such as donating a packet of rice or a bottle of cooking oil at the various BBSG box stations all around the island. These donations will be packed into food hampers and gifts by BB and they will be delivered to the homes of more than 28,000 beneficiaries. These little acts of caring will touch the lives of many.

Simple acts of kindness can be done through donation of essential household items such as the following general food and household items (in no particular order):

• Rice
• Milo
• Cooking Oil
• Biscuits
• Beverages (E.g. Coffee/Tea, Milk Powder etc)
• Condiments/Seasonings (E.g. Soya Sauce, Salt, Sugar, Tomato/Chilli Sauce)
• Halal Canned Food
• Instant Noodles
• Toiletries (E.g. Toothbrush/Toothpaste, Soap, Bath Towels, Detergent, Laundry/Dishwashing, Dettol)
Come down and be a part of this unique project and bring in cheer and relief to Singapore during the Christmas season. Your little acts of caring will touch the lives of many others.

For those who wish to grant a wish to beneficiaries can simply follow the steps below:

1. Pick up a wish tag from a wish tree with the beneficiary's name and wish item
2. Shop for the gift stated in the wish tag
3. Return to the Wish Tree (by 20th Dec) with the wish tag securely attached to the gift
