The Borodin Quartet April 9, 2013

One of the world’s most long-standing music ensembles- The Borodin Quartet – return to Vancouver with a program of Russian masterworks on Tuesday April 9, 2013 at 8pm at the Vancouver Playhouse, as part of Friends of Chamber Music’s 2012/2013 season. The quartet, formed in the Soviet Union in 1945, is celebrated for an performance tradition, which they will apply to a program of Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.
