The Bones of J.R. Jones to Rattle Wednesdays at Pete’s Candy Store April 18, 2012

Singer, songwriter, and musician, The Bones of J.R. Jones has two remaining shows at Pete’s Candy Store in Brooklyn, NY this month. These shows coincide with his recently released EP, The Wildness, which is currently available on iTunes. The self-released debut EP is a reckoning of one’s shortcomings and lesser half; a combination of stripped-down rustic lullabies and the irresistible force of stomp blues in which J.R. wistfully captivates the listener from the first track to the last. The inspiration of his music is explained by his sentiment “the more unsavory desires and wants in your life – those demons and devils [will] haunt you” which accurately seeps through each song.
