TORONTO, ON – June 29, 2010 – The Body Shop is prepping for this weekend’s Pride festivities and invites Torontonians to join in the fun! The Body Shop is entering a fabulous float in the Pride Parade to celebrate 30 years in Canada as the original, natural, ethical retailer and is proud to recognize the 30th birthday of Pride Toronto; what better way to Activate Self Esteem and Defend Human rights!
As a warm-up, this Friday, July 2, The Body Shop kicks up its heels at the Toronto Eaton Centre, with a Pre-Pride Dance Party from 5:00 -7:00 pm, featuring music from DJ Donovan, colourful dancers from The Body Shop Pride Parade float, plus high-energy sampling. Come out to help congratulate Toronto Pride on its 30th birthday and show your Pride in celebrating 30 years of The Body Shop Defending Human Rights and Activating Self-Esteem!
On Sunday, July 4, don’t miss The Body Shop 2010 Pride Parade float featuring an 18-foot Pride Rainbow made from super-sized The Originals bottles. Join the party as 12 high-energy dancers move and groove to world music, reflecting The Body Shop Community Trade partners from around the world.
