The Body Project, a play written & directed by Leslie Jacobson & Vanessa Thomas that takes a searing and honest look at the vast disconnect between the myriad of choices & opportunities modern women have gained & the ever-growing dissatisfaction they feel with their bodies. It explores the way in which women & girls perceive themselves in today?s perfection-obsessed society. ? After the play, an interactive post-show panel, featuring WIN Chair, Lucy Melvin, will explore the very timely issue of ?Women's Bodies and The Body Politic.? ? A new photography exhibit, ?The Beauty Project,? will be on display in the gallery space of The Warehouse Theater
