Jeffrey Gaines is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he was signed to the Chrysalis Record label in 1990 and released his debut album, Jeffrey Gaines, in 1992. His hit single, "Scares Me More," featured an acoustic live version of Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes” on the B-side. A fan favorite, Gaines rerecorded both live and studio versions of "In Your Eyes" in 2001 for his fourth album, the independent release Always Be, and the song was released to radio. This time Gaines hit #22 on the U.S. Adult Top 40 chart and remained on the chart for 22 weeks. Gaines was one of the artists invited to contribute vocals to the benefit CD We are Family, produced by Nile Rodgers after the September 11, 2001 attacks, with profits going to the families affected by the tragedy. Gaines has performed his original compositions live on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, VH-1, Friday Night Videos and Breakfast with the Arts. He has toured with artists including Paula Cole, Tracy Chapman, Melissa Etheridge, Sting, and Stevie Nicks among many others.
Kelli Rudick is a U.S.-born composer and instrumentalist. Her debut album, No One Knows You’re Foreign, established her as an innovative guitar player with a compelling approach to her instrument. Her distinctive style is marked by her passionate curiosity and imagination; she plays with original tunings and chords, percussive rhythms, and looped beats. Rudick’s second album, released in 2012, is a departure from her acoustic debut. It explores new territory by mixing genres while combining orchestration for strings with electronica.
