Very simply, it’s called The Beach Party. But don’t let the basic name fool you; there’s more going on than hustling through the sand at the little beach in Long Island City. This Saturday night The Underground Resistance Assault DJ Squad pays visit to the beach for their first New York performance in a very long time. It's Detroit techno at its finest. With residents Justin Carter, Probus and the Brothers' Brothers dropping everything from house to hip hop to funk, everyone will be able to find a reason to dance--as if the weather and the beach weren't enough.
