The Bawdy House: Marx Brothers Burlesque March 21, 2009

The quarterly "Pinchbottom's Greatest Hits" series kicks off with (of all things) Pinchbottom's greatest hit: The Marx Brothers homage, "The Pinch Brothers in The Bawdy House". When THE PINCH BROTHERS (also sisters) are hired to save an ailing theater, they do so by converting it into a Bawdy House, complete with ribald comedy, risqué magic, and of course, burlesque, burlesque, burlesque! But on opening night, everything goes wrong -- buttons keep popping, pants keep dropping, and the schtick keeps getting schtickier. Can they get through the show with their clothes intact? Nope. Starring Nasty Canasta, Jonny Porkpie, and Tigger! as The Pinch Brothers (also sisters), plus an all-burlesque star cast: Albert Cadabra, Anita Cookie, Bastard Keith, GiGi La Femme, Little Brooklyn, Naughtia Nice, Precious Little, Ruby Valentine, and Scott Rayow (with special appearances by Clams Casino & Neil O'Fortune)
