A Casting Call but a Party!!!
Calling all Actors!!!

DENIM PR and Anansi Studios will be holding a huge casting call for "The Bartender" Film, directed by RT Herwig, written by Akin B. Ware on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 7pm. Join us at GiGi's Restaurant and Lounge for a Casting Party that will take the pressure off of auditioning for a movie! Enjoy GiGi's Signature Cocktails, Delicious Food and audition for a new action movie to be filmed in Philadelphia and New York.

Anansi Studios is working on an indie film, THE BARTENDER, presenting it as a high quality film serial, premiering online in monthly 5 minute installments until the entire feature length story is told.

Here are a few of the roles we are casting for.

The Bartender is a skilled, experienced assassin who has an unusual cover, tending bar in an exclusive high powered lounge.

Jane Grey is a skilled artist or musician and martial artists that makes one mistake and finds the Bartender hired to hunt her down.The attempt on her life leads her into a world of assassins and intrigue where she can trust no one.

Beauty is one of the Nine Legendary Killers, the deadliest assassins on the planet. She is the mixed race daughter of a crime boss in the Golden Triangle that has become known and feared herself. She is brilliant ruthless, sophisticated and multi-lingual. In addition to being one of the most dangerous people in the world she is renowned for being one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her weapon of choice; The Beast, an innocent looking but remarkably dangerous young man bound to her very soul and sworn to follow her commands to the grave.

The film is an unusual fusion of urban thriller and Asian action film. Not deliberate, that's just how it ended up working out.
