THE BAND ECLYPSE
The stylistic onslaught that is The Band Eclypse first made their name by winning Amateur Night at the Apollo twice, which led to shows at Bamboozle Festival, Connecticut’s B.O.M.B. Fest, and New York’s biggest rock venues. With most of its members still attending High School in Westchester, the band’s success on the national scale is as unique and unpredictable as their music. Fronted by the clever and charismatic MC’s L.E.D. and Triple J with lead vocalist Jamie Ballan, The Band Eclypse has expanded their sound to include metal, hip-hop, indie pop and punk. A five person rhythm section, with dual guitarists Matthew Yaspan and Eric Sherman providing their riffage, builds layered and powerful arrangements that transcend the modern pop spectrum.
