The Ball 2008

The Ball has been the Nation’s Biggest Jewish Singles Event 13 years in a row!. More than 4,300 people attended last year (see our videos and photos at http://www.theball2008.com) in NYC alone! That’s more than attend any JDate event or Matzo Ball party in the country.
This year, The Ball will be held in 25 cities nationwide!
Our event is so successful because we work hard to attract an amazing crowd of 20’s and 30’s Jewish Singles - the most important element - and because we choose the hippest venues for our events with great music, easy conversation and thousands of Jewish Singles!
For The Ball 2008 in LA, we are proud to be teaming up with The Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home with half of the net proceeds of the event going to support The LA Jewish Home. The Young Divisions of The Guardians sponsor upscale fundraising events for young Jewish professional at locations like Harry Houdini's Estate and The Playboy Mansion.
With over 600,000 Jews live in Los Angeles, there is still only one Home that offers kosher food, a warm Jewish environment and Jewish holiday celebrations for our elderly, no matter what their financial situation. Each year, nearly 1,000 frail seniors are fortunate enough to have a wonderful place to call “Home.”
We are expecting more than 1,500 Jewish Singles to join us for our The Ball 2008 in LA. We will taking over the entire Highlands Nightclub complex - “one of the biggest and most ornate nightlife spectacles ever seen.” (AOL CityGuide).
The Highlands is the “star of the Hollywood & Highlands Center,” a 25,000 square foot entertainment experience “as extravagant as it is enormous,” (Citysearch) and "mixing hedonistic Babylon and modern Hollywood." (LA.com).
The Ball 2008 at The Highlands will encompass:
• 2 Floors, 8 bars and 7 unique enviroments (highighted by the candlelit and multimedia-dreched VIP Room known as “The Loft”).
• 3 DJs spinning different types of music in different rooms (hip-hop, dance, 80s and classics, house, rock and r&b) so whatever your flavor, we’ll have you covered.
• Music never so so loud that you can’t talk and many lounge environments perfect for intimate conversation, meeting new friends and catching up with old ones.
• 4 magnificent (and heated!) terraces offering killer views of downtown LA (LA.com)
Parking: Parking is plentiful at the parking garage within the Hollywood and Highland complex. Park for $2 for 4 hours or $10 for the night.
We look forward to seeing you at The Ball 2008!
