Sol-Caritas is committed to caring. Our team of talented comics and dedicated staff transcend entertainment to do what we love most; give back to the community!
Our Sol family is always busy preparing for “Back Pew Comedy” shows across the nation. But we are much more than just comedy. When the BPC team is not on stage, we are in schools, churches and outreach centers in cities we perform in; talking with children, counseling teenagers, and playing an active role in the lives of those that need extra support. Nothing gives us greater pleasure than spending time with youth across the country! They learn from us and we are inspired by them; the mutual benefit is immeasurable. The positive effects can last a lifetime.
On March 11 & 12, 2011 Back Pew Comedy group will visit Manor ISD. We are so thankful to Manor and all schools, who generously invite us to spend this essential time with them! You trust us to participate in an important endeavor; mentoring, guiding, and empowering new generations with our drug-free programs, leadership seminars, stand-up comedy workshops, and tutorial services. We’ve been hard at work on a series of in-house videos produced by Billy Sorrells and Blame the Comic, that address the key issues affecting our nation’s youth. These critical circumstances are certainly not funny; however, laughter, and comedy used effectively is a powerful way to teach and encourage without being overwhelming. We strive to offer positive alternatives and maximize the potential of bright, promising youth.
Community Service and comedy; for Sol-Caritas and Back Pew Comedy, this is the best of both worlds! Please visit Sol-Caritas.com and BackPewComedyTour.com to learn more about our charitable social services and to join our philanthropic mission.
