The Avery Experience October 22, 2007

The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium will host “The Avery Experience” on Monday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m.

The event will be hosted by Adam Avery, president and brewmaster at Avery Brewing Co. in Boulder, Colo. Avery will host a two-hour educational tasting, featuring 15 of the brewery’s beers.

Featured beers will be distributed in 3-ounce servings and will include Ellie’s Brown Ale; White Rascal Belgian Wheat Ale; Fourteen, Avery’s latest anniversary ale; The Reverend Belgian Quadrupel Ale; Hog Heaven Barleywine; The Maharaja Imperial India Pale Ale; The Kaiser Imperial Oktoberfest; The Czar Imperial Stout; Samael’s Oak-aged Ale; and Mephistopheles’ Stout; as well as others. Light hors d'oeuvres also will be provided.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at The Flying Saucer and are $35.
