The Artist in Your Child Art Exhibit July 11, 2009

Children between the ages of 5 and 9 years old will have the opportunity to show their talent as an artist in painting, coloring, sketching, reading or writing. This event will be held at SOMETHING TO READ BOOKSTORE located at 215 E. Main St. in Historical Downtown Jackson. All paintings submitted (with easel) are encouraged to have a poem or short story along with their painting to tell about it. Awards will be given out. If your child doesn't paint, not to worry... they can bring in their favorite children's book and read it aloud or they can just enjoy their day out with parents and other children! They will also have the opportunity to listen to our wonderful children's authors as they read their books on this day of fun. For more info.: 731-427-7379 or 866-457-7379.
