The Art of Yoga Dance Jam is a fun evening of Anusara yoga, guided free-form dance, and live music, including congas, tablas, guitar, and Native American flutes. 50% off all proceeds from this event will be donated to The Art of Yoga Project, a non-profit organization that brings yoga to teen girls in the juvenile detention system. This project is helping over 500 teen girls in California and Oregon.
Rebecca will teach a full yoga practice including sun salutations, standing poses, back-bends, and forward bends. This practice is open to all levels of students. Rebecca will help you find your way, if you are brand new to yoga, and she will challenge you, if you are a more seasoned student. Dive into your Self with yoga, experience more freedom for creative expression and take it into dance. This practice offers a channel for your creativity! Let your body play in free-style dance. In addition to Rebecca's intuitive and knowledgeable instruction, the deep vibrant drum beats and flowing flute melodies reach into your heart and call you to dance! Prepare to let go, play, and sweat. Shoes are recommended if your not used to dancing barefoot. You will be sweetly guided back to yoga to calm your energy and stretch out into final relaxation.
Come and raise your vibration at The Art of Yoga Dance Jam! You will feel great and you will be contributing to an amazing program, The Art of Yoga Project. To learn more about the AYP, visit www.theartofyogaproject.org.
