The Art of the Documentary Pitch October 14, 2006

Five emerging filmmakers pitch their documentary ideas to a panel of programming executives, who give un-sugarcoated, real-world critiques of the projects as well as the pitches. The winner receives a $5,000 grant, sponsored by American Documentary, Inc., producers of the acclaimed P.O.V. series. Last year's recipient, Asparagus!: A Stalk-umentary, had its world premiere at the 2006 Full Frame Documentary Festival.
