The Art of Carnival in Venice Learning Italian through Art December 11, 2012

Students will learn to create decorative masks reflective of those used for the Venice Carnival and la commedia dell'arte. Target Italian language and culture will be incorporated into the creative activities. Students will experiment with paper mache, mixed media, collage, painting and drawing to create a theatrical mask. This course is suitable for Kindergarten to Year 2 Students.
