“The Art and Science of Job Searching” Seminar Series

JobsPlus and the Workforce Development Board of Okaloosa and Walton Counties will conduct the seminar series “The Art and Science of Job Searching – What your competition doesn’t know” every other Thursday beginning on August 13 and running through October 15. This six seminar series will include the topics: Job Search Basics – August 13, Civil Service and Online Applications – August 27, Steps to a Better Resume – September 10, Dynamic Networking – September 24, Interviewing Strategies That Work – October 8, and will conclude with an Employer Question and Answer Panel on October 15. Seminars will be hosted at the Fort Walton Beach JobsPlus One-Stop Career Center located at 409 NE Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, FL, 32547. Seminars will start at 6:00 PM and will conclude at about 7:00 PM. The Employer Question and Answer Panel will conclude with a reception and the opportunity to meet human resource specialists, ask questions, and receive feedback on resumes.
