The Art and Culture of the DJ – UNC Process Series February 17, 2010

Feb. 18, 2010 at 7:30 PM and Feb. 19, 2010 at 8PM

Featuring DJ Radar, composer Raúl Yañez and UNC’s Charanga Ensemble led by professor David Garcia. A work for turntables and Latin ensemble presented as part of the Digital Arts and Humanities Festival focused on the theme of Collaborations: Humanities, Arts and Technology (CHAT).

Now in its second season, the UNC Process Series gives performing artists the opportunity to develop and stage unfinished works, to gain from directorial and audience feedback as the work develops. All performances in The Process Series are general admission and are free and open to the public. All performances take place in Gerrard Hall on Cameron Avenue. (919) 843-7067.
