The Art & Craft of Songwriting October 25, 2008

Boyd Holmes will present a three-hour training session in the art and craft of songwriting with emphasis for music educators. It doesn't matter where you are in your personal journey as a songwriter or composer: all are welcome. If you enjoy writing songs, or just want to feel more confident in pursuing songwriting for yourself or with your students, this session is tailor-made for you. Practice rooms will be available for break-out sessions. Participants are encouraged to bring instruments - especially their primary instrument as well as accompaniment instruments such as guitar or auto-harp.
