The AppUp Experience September 15, 2010

OK, so you know about apps for smart phones, what about the growing number of apps available for netbooks today? Intel’s AppUp Center invites you to test drive the hottest apps designed specifically for netbooks at the two-day AppUp experience.

Intel’s AppUp is bringing in netbooks, top app experts and taking over 6,000 square feet in the Metreon to showcase the innovative apps on Sept. 15-16. These apps are designed specifically for netbooks powered by the Intel® Atom processor.

Some highlights from the two-day AppUp experience include:

• Lucky AppUp Experience attendees may win an Intel Atom-powered netbook at noon and 4 p.m.
• First 200 people in the door each day receive a ceramic travel mug and a muffin
• Networking mixer on September 15 from 5 p.m -7 p.m. with AppUp pros
• Hands-on play with the next generation of apps

The AppUp experience, located in the Metreon, is open from 10 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll also be live tweeting @IntelAppUp.
