The American Revolution and the Brooklyn Bridge May 29, 2011

Take a walk across the bridge to discuss the layout of the Battle of Brooklyn, fought in 1776, followed by a walk through Lower Manhattan to review its patriotic history. Stops include Federal Hall, where Washington was inaugurated; the graves of Alexander Hamilton and Declaration Signer Francis Lewis; St Paul's Chapel; Bowling Green and the site of The Battle of Golden Hill.
