The Amazing Taste of New York Race October 3, 2010

On October 3, join teams of foodies for a race around Manhattan in a gourmet afternoon that's half tasting tour, half scavenger hunt and all New York! POGO Events, creators of popular New York scavenger hunts, is teaming up with Neighborhood Eats for the Taste of New York Race, a unique foodie event that brings a fast-paced element of surprise to the typical restaurant tour.

Participants follow clues to favorite New York restaurants, get a free sample of its cuisine, and document their snacking along the way. Although the locations are top secret, races will sample Thai, Mexican, pub grub, classic New York pizza, and more. At the finish line, winners will receive prizes from restaurant gift certificates to gym memberships (for those with a few extra calories to burn).
