More than just another local band, the gutsy alt. rockers the Alternate Routes are close personal friends of ours. A five-piece that formed around the Fairfield University grads Eric Donnelly (lead guitar) and Tim Warren (lead vocals, guitar), the Routes are guitar rockers who write anthemic rock & roll songs with alluring melodies as well as some lighter, folky singer/songwriter tunes. After their last national tour, they sat down to record Lately, the album they'll celebrating at StageOne, a veritable home for the guys at this point.

*11.7 will be a full band acoustic show
