Join HotHouse in the south loop for an evening with Chicago's leading names in the global music scene! The AK TRIO will begin the night with their live cinematic experience.
Using over 40 instruments to create their unique sound, AK Trio combines elements of Americana, flamenco, Greek, African, and Arabic music - each receiving equal time. AK Trio is everything from music resembling your favorite movie soundtrack, to subtle ballads, to a freak circus to full out thrash. The trio is a blend of skillful masters including 10-fingered guitar virtuoso Andreas Kapsalis, drummer and percussionist Jamie Gallagher and multi-instrumentalist Darren Garvey.The musicianship and instrumentation make this a must-see live performance!

DJ Warp (AKA Brian Keigher) will offer up his ingenious mix of global beats. By day, Brian Keigher organizes events for the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs. By night he is DJ Warp - a staple DJ in Chicago, playing at various venues supporting some of the world's top touring talent. Brian was recently asked to be the first DJ to ever perform at the prestigious Chicago Symphony Center. He has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Reader, CLTV, and Chicago Public Radio, WBEZ to name a few.

Meet up at Barba Yianni at 7 pm (one of Andreas' favorite Greek restaurants!) for Greek appetizer hour and an old school bus ride down to the show. Barbi Yianni is located at (4761 N. Lincoln Ave.) in the heart of Lincoln Square - just steps from the Western Brown Line stop.

The bus leaves Barba Yianni at 8:15 pm for Reggies. This "North Side Ticket Package" must be purchased by Wednesday, February 3rd.
