Training for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago’s (AFC) TEAM TO END AIDS (T2), a new endurance program that provides training for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, the Chicago Half Marathon or the Chicago Triathlon, begins Saturday, May 8. As T2 supports participants, they support the fight against HIV/AIDS. Beginners and experienced athletes can register today at: T2EA.com
In a few months, T2 will train you to complete your selected event – marathon, half marathon or triathlon – even if you’ve never trained before.
In addition to group training, T2 offers convenient online features to support training. T2 participants receive exclusive access to a Facebook application designed specifically for the program. The social networking element allows participants to search for compatible running partners in the program; share training insight; ask coaches and other participants questions; discover new training routes and more.
In addition to a five-month marathon and four-month half marathon training program, T2 has partnered with TriMonster and Fitness Formula Clubs to provide a complete four-month triathlon training program, including full access membership to a Fitness Formula Club (choose from four participating locations).
