The Aggrolites December 5, 2006

Led by guitarist Brian Dixon and frontman Jesse Wagner, The Aggrolites sound can best be summed up as Late 60's Jamaican Reggae that is heavily mixed with American sould and funk, influenced by The Meters, James Brown and Wilson Picket. The Aggrolites are a mix of a ska band and a reggae band that performs with a raw intensity and grit. Their latest release featuing the title track "Dirty Reggae," was featured on Hellcat chiefs Chris LaSalle and Tim Armstrong of Rancid's forth volume of Give 'Em the Boot compilation which introduced the band to a greater audience.
